MoU signed to offer tuition fee discount for govt employees, families at NCBAE

BAHAWALPUR, Oct 22 (APP):A significant memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Commissioner Bahawalpur Musarrat Jabeen and Pro-Rector of National College of Business Administration and Economics (NCBA&E), Alhamra University Bahawalpur, Professor Dr. Muhammad Aslam Adeeb.
The agreement aims to provide special concessions in higher education for government employees across the Bahawalpur Division and their families.
Under the MoU, officers, employees, and their family members working in all civil departments of Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, and Rahim Yar Khan districts will receive up to 40 per cent discount on tuition fees at NCBA&E, Alhamra University Bahawalpur. The facility will be available to staff of departments such as Health, Revenue, Livestock, Forests, Education, Local Government, Agriculture, Social Welfare, and other administrative sectors.
Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner Musarrat Jabeen said the agreement will expand educational opportunities for government employees and their children, making quality education more accessible. She emphasized that education is the key to the progress of any society and expressed hope that the region will continue to excel in the field of learning.
Pro-Rector Professor Dr Muhammad Aslam Adeeb, representing Alhamra University, said the institution values partnerships with public organizations and is committed to providing quality education to as many students as possible, particularly those who face financial challenges in pursuing higher studies. The Commissioner expressed confidence that this MoU will not only enhance educational opportunities for government employees and their families but also strengthen collaboration between government and academic institutions, marking a positive step toward social and educational development in the region.
