QUETTA, Nov 07 (APP):A mosquito spray campaign has been formally launched on the demand of the public and due to the abundance of mosquitoes in Sibi district on Friday.
The campaign was inaugurated by Vice Chairman Municipal Committee Sardarzada Mir Dinar Khan Domki by pressing a button.
Deputy Commissioner Sibi Major (Retd) Ilyas Kabzai, Chairman Municipal Committee Sardar Muhammad Khan Khajak, Assistant Commissioner Sibi Mansoor Ali Shah and other dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
During the campaign, spraying will be done in different areas, streets and neighborhoods of Sibi city to prevent the breeding of mosquitoes and the diseases spread by them.
Chairman Municipal Committee Sardar Muhammad Khan Khajak said that the spray campaign is an important step for the protection of public health, and the municipal staff would fulfill their responsibilities in this regard.
He said that the scope of the spray campaign would be expanded to all areas of the city.
