PESHAWAR, Nov 28 (APP): Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi here Friday visited Federal Constabulary (FC) Headquarters to meet the officers and personnel after the suicide attack on the FC Headquarters happened few days ago.
Mohsin Naqvi visited the Martyrs’ Memorial, laid flowers, and offered Fateha (prayers).
The Interior Minister inspected the site of the attack, met with the officers and personnel of the Federal Constabulary, and presided over an important meeting.
The Minister was briefed on the efforts that foiled the attack conducted by the Khawarij miscreants.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid rich tribute to the courage and spirit of the Federal Constabulary personnel for thwarting the attack.
“I salute the sacrifice of the three personnel who embraced martyrdom,” said Mohsin Naqvi.
He said the martyrs sacrificed their lives and foiled the evil intentions of the terrorists.
The FC constables fought bravely and sent the three suicide bombers to hell within three minutes,” said Mohsin Naqvi.
He said the sacrifice of the personnel who embraced martyrdom will not go in vain.
“The families of the martyrs will be cared for like our own family,” said Mohsin Naqvi, adding the martyrs set a great example of bravery and repelled the enemy’s attack by showing examplary courage.
He said the bravery with which security forces confronted the Indian-sponsored terrorists is highly commendable.
Inspector General Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police Zulfiqar Hameed, Commandant Federal Constabulary Nazir Gaada,
and other senior officials were also present on the occasion.
