MULTAN, Jul 24 (APP):A two-day 8th Mango Festival titled “Eco Smart Mango Production” featuring display of over 100 varieties, ‘King of fruits’ dish making competition and informative seminar on new technology will open at Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Agriculture on July 26.
Event organizer, Dr Mubashir Mehdi told this news agency that more that 50 growers would present their best quality mangoes in the festival.
Punjab Minister for Agriculture, Syed Ashiq Hussain Shah will inaugurate the festivities very at MNSUA on Friday.
He said mango variety and dish making competition would also be organized.
A poetic sitting, musical and cultural night will also be part of festival, he said and added that visitors will enjoy themselves the annual festival.
The fun filled event will attract a large numbers of families like every year, he concluded.
