MULTAN, Oct 30 (APP):Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Engineering and Technology (MNSUET) Multan and the Punjab Small Industries Corporation (PSIC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening cooperation in education, skill development, and industrial growth.
Under the agreement, PSIC will display products developed by MNSUET students at its showrooms and facilitate connections between the university and major industrial organizations for collaborative ventures.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chancellor Dr. Tahir Sultan said the partnership will enhance academia–industry linkages and support quality professional education in South Punjab.
PSIC Regional Director Amara Manzoor and Assistant Director Sofia Iqbal highlighted the corporation’s commitment to working with educational institutions to nurture a skilled workforce through training programs, industrial visits, and practical learning opportunities.
According to the MoU, both institutions will jointly promote small-scale industries, enhance student training, and create business opportunities.
At the event’s conclusion, MNSUET Registrar Prof. Dr. Asim Umar received the signed document and expressed optimism that the collaboration would help students translate their innovations into market-ready industrial products.
