Minister Wajiha Qamar pledges expansion of technical education in Balochistan

QUETTA, Oct 25 (APP):Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training, Wajiha Qamar, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to empowering Balochistan’s youth through modern technical education.
During her official visit to Quetta, touring the INOVISTA DHA Quetta Center, the Minister reviewed ongoing courses in Cyber Security and Artificial Intelligence (AI), conducted under the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC).
Director INOVISTA, Colonel (R) Imran Tauqeer, briefed her on the center’s offerings and progress.
Minister Wajiha Qamar emphasized that the country’s youth are its greatest asset and highlighted Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif’s vision to integrate Balochistan’s youth into the national mainstream.
“We are committed to providing courses aligned with modern demands to ensure employment opportunities for talented students across Balochistan,” she added.
“Balochistan is close to our hearts, and we must bring its positive face before the world.”
Commending NAVTTC’s efforts, the Minister assured that more technical education centers will be established across Balochistan. This expansion aims to equip young men and women with vocational skills that meet evolving market needs and contribute to regional development.
Minister Wajiha Qamar also called for collective action to counter hostile narratives targeting the region. She urged all stakeholders to unite in defeating such threats and promoting a peaceful, progressive image of Balochistan.
