Minister visits Pandu Street
LAHORE, Jun 18 (APP):Provincial Minister Bilal Yasin visited Pandu Street late at night and reviewed
arrangements for law and order, security and civic amenities during Muharram.
Special Assistant to Chief Minister Rashid Nasrullah, Commissioner Maryam Khan,
DIG Operations Faisal Kamran and Deputy Commissioner Ali Ijaz were also present
on the occasion.
The provincial minister inspected the preparations of police, district administration, rescue services and other related institutions, he also reviewed the condition of cleanliness, sewage system and street lights on the routes of majlis and processions and issued necessary instructions to the concerned officers.
Bilal Yasin said that promotion of inter-religious harmony, brotherhood and tolerance will be ensured during Muharram, special arrangements will be made for sabeels and langar for the convenience of mourners.
