Minister visits Nankana to distribute prizes among position holders

LAHORE, Jul 23 (APP):Provincial Minister for Minority Affairs Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora visited Nankana Sahib district, where he was welcomed by Deputy Commissioner Chaudhry Muhammad Arshad and District Police Officer (DPO) Saad Aziz.
The provincial minister met with district officers as well as parents and teachers of students who achieved positions in matriculation exams. He distributed shields and prizes among the students.
Later, the minister along with the DC and the DPO visited the Police Service Centre in Nankana. The DPO briefed the provincial minister on the facilities provided at the police service centre and its cultural theme.
The DC recommend the establishment of a joint desk and district administration at the police service centre upon which the provincial minister assured that the recommendations would be completed promptly after approval from the chief minister.
Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora said that providing facilities to citizens and minorities at the centre is a highly positive step. The minister also visited Gurdwara Janam Asthan where he listened to public grievances and issued orders to resolve them.
