Minister reaffirms commitment to strengthen FATA varsity
PESHAWAR, Jul 28 (APP):Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs Aftab Alam on Tuesday reaffirmed provincial government’s commitment to strengthening FATA University and pledged continued support for higher education, research and infrastructure development.
During his visit to FATA University, the minister reviewed its academic, research and administrative performance and said the government would continue to facilitate projects aimed at improving educational standards, promoting innovation and expanding institutional capacity.
The minister was also briefed on new degree programs, student services and institutional achievements. He also inspected science and computer laboratories, central library, smart classrooms, student hostels, solar power project and other development works.
He said the university had made notable progress in a relatively short period and described it as an important institution for expanding access to quality higher education in the province.
He said the university was working toward becoming a nationally and internationally recognized center of higher learning.
