LAHORE, Nov 09 (APP): Punjab Minister for Communication & Works Malik Sohaib Ahmad Bharth has paid tribute to the Poet of the East, Allama Muhammad Iqbal (RA), on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
In his message, the minister said the day is observed to honor Iqbal’s contributions as a philosopher and poet. He highlighted that Iqbal’s teachings of self-realization, faith, and action provide guiding principles that lead nations to progress and glory.
He emphasized that the strength of character and promotion of knowledge are key to national development, and Iqbal’s vision of Pakistan reflects a state founded on justice, equality, and brotherhood. Malik Sohaib Ahmad Bharth called upon citizens to renew their commitment to the development and prosperity of the country in accordance with Iqbal’s teachings, underlining that building a strong and prosperous Pakistan is a collective responsibility.
