LAHORE, Dec 14 (APP):Punjab Minister for Sports, Youth Affairs and Energy Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar on Sunday inaugurated a number of development projects in UC-109, Khayaban-e-Quaid and adjoining localities, aimed at improving basic civic infrastructure and addressing long-standing public issues of local residents.
The projects include construction and rehabilitation of roads, improvement of sewerage systems and provision of essential municipal facilities, which are expected to significantly enhance living conditions and the overall civic outlook of the area.
On the occasion, Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had always prioritised development, transparency and public service. He said the Punjab government was taking practical measures to ensure the timely provision of basic amenities and that public welfare projects were being completed on a fast-track basis to provide early relief to the people.
The provincial minister said that the development of UC-109, Khayaban-e-Quaid and surrounding areas was among the top priorities of the provincial government, adding that the ongoing projects would not only improve infrastructure but also raise the standard of municipal services. He assured that consultation with local residents would continue and that development initiatives would be pursued with the same commitment in the future.
Earlier, the president, general secretary and members of the Khayaban-e-Quaid Society, along with a large number of residents, welcomed the provincial minister and expressed satisfaction over the initiation of development works. Local representatives and notable community members were also present on the occasion.
