Minister hears passengers’ complaints aboard train at Khanewal station

KHANEWAL, Jun 10 (APP):Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi listened to complaints from passengers aboard the Shah Hussain Express during a visit to Khanewal railway station on Tuesday.
The minister, who was inspecting facilities at the station, took time to personally engage with travelers on the 43UP Karachi-to-Lahore service, addressing their concerns regarding onboard conditions.
The minister’s surprise interaction with passengers highlighted his desire to get feedback direct from them and know what they feel about cleanliness to maintenance issues within the coaches and overall travel experience. In response, Abbasi issued immediate directives to relevant officials present, instructing them to resolve the passengers’ problems swiftly.
The minister also inspected the pedestrian bridge that had collapsed sometime before Eid-ul-Azha and got details about its repair and strengthening.
He also took a round of the platform and witnessed the interior styles of the waiting rooms.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Pakistan Railways Amir Khan Baloch, Divisional Superintendent Multan Zulfiqar Sheikh and other officials were present.
