FAISALABAD, Jul 01 (APP): Provincial Minister for Information Azma Bokhari has visited Jaranwala and inspected arrangements for Muharram.
During her visit, she reviewed security and civic preparations at the Central Imam Bargah Qasr-e-Batool, procession routes, Sabeels, field hospitals and “Clinic-on-Wheels” facilities.
The minister issued directives to keep entry and exit routes of mourning processions separate and ensure all CCTV cameras in the control room fully operational.
She also inspected a Sabeel, tasted the distributed drinks and assessed the provided facilities.
Chairing a meeting at Assistant Commissioner’s office, Azma Bokhari instructed that all government officers should remain visible in the field during Ashura.
She further emphasized preemptive measures for drainage, considering the forecast of heavy rains during the holy days of Muharram.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) Faisalabad Captain (retired) Nadeem Nasir, SSP Operations and Assistant Commissioner (AC) Jaranwala were also present on the occasion.
