LAHORE, Dec 18 (APP):Provincial Minister for Minorities Ramesh Singh Arora extended heartfelt Christmas greetings to the Christian community and appreciated the minority-friendly vision and welfare initiatives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.
The minister expressed these remarks during a grand, soulful and dignified Christmas ceremony held at FGA Ground here, in which thousands of members of the Christian community participated with feelings of worship, joy and gratitude.
Minister Arora attended the ceremony as the chief guest, while Senior Pastor Anwar Fazal, government officers, religious leaders, community elders and dignitaries were also present.
It is worth mentioning here that the 12-day Christmas celebrations are underway across the province under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz.
The ceremony began with a dignified carol service, in which the participants lit candles that symbolized peace, love and unity. The FGA Ground resonated with hymns of praise, songs of joy and Christmas carols.
On this occasion, special skits based on the Christmas message of peace, sacrifice and love were also presented, which were highly appreciated by the audience.
At the end of the ceremony, the Provincial Minister also cut a cake in celebration of Christmas with the Christian community.
