WAH CANTT, Feb 22 (APP): Minister of State for Law and Justice, Barrister Aqeel Malik inspected the Ramzan Nigehban Bazaar in Taxila, reviewing the availability and pricing of essential food items.
According to APP correspondent, he interacted with vendors and citizens, assessing whether commodities were sold at officially notified rates.
The minister emphasized the government’s goal to extend maximum relief to citizens during Ramadan, minimizing inflation’s impact. He highlighted the bazaar’s aim to support low- and middle-income families with quality food at affordable prices.
Barrister directed the local administration to monitor prices and stock levels, warning against hoarding and profiteering. He instructed officials to take strict action against violators, ensuring transparency in distribution.
