RAWALPINDI, Oct 2 (APP):The Punjab Food Authority (PFA) Murree on Thursday registered a case against a milk shop in Kaladna Chowk, Murree, for adulteration and destroyed 300 litres of substandard milk on the spot.
A PFA team sealed the shop after detecting the use of dried powder and vegetable oil in the milk. The action was taken following the failure of milk samples during laboratory testing.
A PFA spokesperson said that the process of milk sampling was continuing across the province and stern action was being taken against those involved in adulteration. He urged citizens to report complaints on the Helpline 1223.
