FAISALABAD, Jul 29 (APP):The FIA Faisalabad Circle arrested a meter reader of the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) on the charges of power theft by altering and reversing a digital meter.

An FIA spokesman said here on Monday that an FIA Composite Circle Faisalabad team, on a tip-off, raided Ali Housing Society where FESCO meter reader of Gulberg Subdivision, Muhammad Akram, was busy altering and reversing a digital meter for power theft.

The team arrested the accused and recovered a number of meters, laptops, mobile phones, software and other gadgets used for altering and reversing meters. The accused was locked behind bars while an investigation is under progress, he added.
