Met office predicts more rain in Lahore, parts of Punjab

LAHORE, Jul 01 (APP):The Meteorological Department has predicted more rain-wind/thunderstorms with isolated heavy falls in Lahore and other parts of Punjab on Monday evening/night, Tuesday and Wednesday.
According to the Meteorological Department (PMD), moist currents from Arabian Sea are penetrating upper parts of Pakistan and are likely to strengthen on Tuesday. A trough of shallow westerly wave will likely approach upper parts of the country on Tuesday.
Under these weather conditions, more rain-wind/thunderstorms are predicted at isolated places in Murree, Galyat, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Chakwal, Talagang, Attock, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujarat, Gujranwala, Lahore, Okara, Sheikhupura, Hafizabad, Narowal, Sialkot, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Mianwali, Khushab, Sargodha, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Pakpattan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Bhakkar, Multan, Khanewal, Bahawalpur and Bahawalnagar on Monday evening/night.
Likewise on Tuesday, more rain-wind/thunderstorms are predicted at isolated places in Murree, Galyat, Rawalpindi, Jhelum, Chakwal, Talagang, Attock, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujarat, Gujranwala, Lahore, Okara, Sheikhupura, Hafizabad, Narowal, Sialkot, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Mianwali, Khushab, Sargodha, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Pakpattan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Layyah, Bhakkar, Multan, Khanewal, Bahawalpur and Bahawalnagar. Hot and humid weather is expected elsewhere in the province.
Meanwhile, Lahore’s maximum temperature will likely remain between 40-42°C on Tuesday and 41-43°C on Wednesday.
