MEPCO restores power supply to over 60,000 consumers in flood-hit areas

MULTAN, Sep 24 (APP):The Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) has intensified efforts to restore electricity in flood-affected areas of southern Punjab. As floodwaters begin to recede, electricity supply has been successfully restored to 60,784 consumers across 10 districts of the region.
According to MEPCO officials, the power supply has partially been restored from 141 affected feeders while power supply fully restored from 33 feeders.
The district-wise electricity supply data included: 6,488 consumers in Multan,  15,598 in Sahiwal,
1,143 consumers in Pakpattan,  2,539 consumers in Rahim Yar Khan, 15 consumers in Bahawalpur,
19,557 consumers in Khanewal, 2,500 consumers in Bahawalnagar, 12,707 consumers in Muzaffargarh and 235 consumers in Kot Addu.
