MULTAN, Nov 27 (APP): Material Management Department of Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) has issued 8,832 single-phase static meters to seven operational circles to clear the backlog of burnt and faulty meters.
Director Material Management Malik Javed Iqbal said that 1,500 meters will cover July’s pending burnt units, while 7,332 meters were allocated for faulty meter replacements by the end of August 2025.
Meters have been dispatched to Multan, D.G. Khan, Vehari, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal, Rahim Yar Khan and Muzaffargarh circles, with instructions to ensure immediate replacement and report completion to headquarters.
