KOHAT, Oct 9 (APP)::Deputy Commissioner Ashfaq Khan here Thursday chaired a meeting of District Polio Eradication Committee to review final arrangements for the vaccination drive starting October 13.
The meeting was attended by officials from the health department, WHO, police and administration.
Chairing the meeting, DC directed that no child should remain unvaccinated terming polio eradication a national responsibility. He urged all the departments to work in coordination to ensure success of anti-polio drive.
Meanwhile, Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Amir Nawaz Khan inaugurated the inter village and neighborhood sports competitions at the Sports Complex Parachinar featuring nine teams competing in football, volleyball and cricket.
