MDA, Civil Defence sign agreement for Fatima Jinnah Town Phase-I security

MULTAN, Dec 06 (APP): A formal agreement between the Multan Development Authority (MDA) and Civil Defence was finalised under the patronage of Commissioner Multan division, Aamir Karim Khan, to enhance security measures at Fatima Jinnah Town Phase-I.
The signing ceremony was attended by Commissioner Aamir Karim Khan, former Deputy Commissioner/Controller Civil Defence Multan Waseem Hamid, incumbent Deputy Commissioner Multan Nauman Siddiq, Director General MDA Rashid Irshad Hussain, Additional Director General MDA Malik Atta-ul-Haq Khokhar, Assistant Director Civil Defence Multan Region Naushaba Mahwish and Director Engineering MDA Waseem Khan.
The agreement was formally signed by former Deputy Commissioner/Controller Civil Defence Waseem Hamid and Director General MDA Rashid Irshad Hussain.
According to the details, the duration of the agreement was one year which is extendable.
Under the agreement, Civil Defence personnel—trained by the police force—will be deployed to maintain security across Fatima Jinnah Town Phase-I. Initially, 38 Civil Defence officials will be assigned to the area, performing duties round the clock in three shifts to ensure uninterrupted security.
All deployed personnel will be physically fit and young, as per the criteria set in the agreement. In case of leave or absence of any security official, the MDA administration will be informed in advance.
Furthermore, all personnel will receive their salaries directly into their bank accounts in accordance with the pay schedule approved by the Government of Punjab.
