MD SSWMB inspects Muharramul-Haram arrangements
KARACHI, Jun 23 (APP):Managing Director (MD) Sindh Solid Waste Management Board (SSWMB), Tariq Ali Nizamani, paid a detailed visit on Tuesday to Nishtar Road, Numaish Chowrangi, Jinnah Ground, and other areas to review arrangements for processions and Majalis of Muharram-ul-Haram.
On this occasion, officials from the Jafria Alliance, Additional Inspector General of Police, DIG Traffic, Deputy Commissioners of the South and East districts, District Directors of South and East, senior police officers, officials of sanitation companies, and other concerned officers were present.
They reviewed the cleanliness in the surroundings of Imam Bargahs and mourning procession routes, lime sprinkling, and other arrangements.
According to details, the SSWMB’s machinery and cleaning staff are carrying out sanitation work at all key locations.
The complaint center is active 24 hours to provide relief to the public and the complaints received on the helpline number 1128 and the “Complaints Karachi” app (SSWMB) will be addressed immediately.
All concerned officers and staff will remain in full coordination with other institutions to carry out their duties.
