MD PASSCO review arrangements to save wheat stocks from rains

BUREWALA, Jul 10 (APP):Managing Director (MD) Pakistan Agricultural Storage and Services Corporation (PASSCO) Sarfraz Ahmad Durrani on Wednesday inspected wheat storage facilities in PASSCO Burewala zone to review arrangements to save wheat stocks from expected floods and monsoon rains.
“Protection of every single grain of wheat was the prime responsibility of PASSCO,” the MD said while talking to media persons during the visit and warned that no negligence would be tolerated in this connection.
He expressed satisfaction over the arrangements but sought further improvement and continuous monitoring of the situation.
Earlier, a PASSCO official Waqar Hussain Jadoon gave a detailed briefing to MD over the arrangements.
General Manager (A&I) PASSCO Col. (Retired) Imran Nazir, GM field Ghulam Bashir, DG Works Faisal Hussain, PM Waqar Hussain Jadoon, Muhammad Ashfaq, Waseem Ghani and Mudassir Hussain were also present.
