SARGODHA, Oct 20 (APP): The Municipal Corporation (MC) Sargodha has officially launched the E-Business Punjab Portal, an online platform for submitting applications related to map approvals, licenses, registrations, permits, and No Objection Certificates (NOCs). The initiative was rolled out on Monday as part of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s “Asaan Karobar Vision”, which aims to simplify business processes and enhance public service delivery across Punjab.
According to a spokesperson from the Commissioner’s Office, the portal is designed to eliminate the need for physical visits to government offices, offering a more transparent, efficient, and citizen-friendly system. Through the portal, users can now submit applications for a wide range of municipal services, including land use conversion and various official approvals.
Commissioner Jahanzeb Awan emphasized that the implementation of the E-Business Punjab Portal will provide tangible benefits to the business community, promoting ease of doing business while improving overall governance. He added that this digital shift aligns with the government’s broader vision of creating a more accessible and efficient public administration system.
He further directed relevant officials to ensure timely processing of all online applications and to conduct awareness campaigns to inform and encourage citizens to utilize the new platform.
