SUKKUR, Oct 29 (APP):Mayor Sukkur and Spokesperson to the Government of Sindh, Barrister Arsalan Islam Sheikh, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected officials of the Sindh Parliamentary Reporters Association (SPRA).
In a statement on Wednesday, Barrister Arsalan Islam Sheikh said that the trust shown by the association’s members in the newly elected officials is a testament to their performance and capabilities. He emphasized that journalism is a fundamental pillar of democracy and parliamentary reporters play a vital role in highlighting public issues.
Barrister Arsalan Islam Sheikh expressed his confidence in the newly elected officials, stating that he hopes they will perform their professional duties even more effectively in the future. He extended his congratulations to President Kamran Razi, General Secretary Akram Baloch, Vice President Hameed Soomro, Joint Secretary Arbab Chandio, Information Secretary Dodo Chandio, Treasurer Wakeel Rao, and Office Secretary Sanjay Sadhwani.
The Mayor Sukkur wished the new leadership of SPRA the best of luck and expressed his hope that they will intensify their efforts for the rights of the journalist community.
