DERA GHAZI KHAN, Jul 23 (APP):Commissioner and Chairman of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Dera Ghazi Khan Ashfaq Ahmed Chaudhry has officially announced the position holders for the Matriculation Examination 2025.
According to the BISE chairman, a total of 91,180 candidates appeared in the annual Matric exams this year, and 81.35 per cent students passed the exams.
In the overall results, Hania Mehmood from DPS Girls High School, Layyah, secured the first position with 1,187 marks, while Insha Ahmed from Vision Girls School, Layyah, claimed the second position with 1,186 marks. The third position was shared by four students, each securing 1,184 marks. They were: Nauman Waris (Centre of Excellence, Dera Ghazi Khan), Zarish Fatima (The Raven Girls High School, Mithan Kot, Rajanpur), Zainab Shoukat (Centre of Excellence, Muzaffargarh), and Laiba Raza (Government Girls High School No.1, Dera Ghazi Khan).
In the Science Group (Boys) category: Nauman Waris (Dera Ghazi Khan) secured the first position with 1,184 marks, Ameer Abdullah (Muzaffargarh) stood second with 1,183 marks, and Abdullah Usman (Dera Ghazi Khan) and Muhammad Asad (Muzaffargarh) shared the third position with 1,181 marks.
In the Science Group (Girls): Hania Mehmood (Layyah) took the first position with 1,187 marks, Insha Ahmed (Layyah) secured the second position with 1,186 marks, and Zarish Fatima (Rajanpur), Zainab Shoukat (Muzaffargarh), and Laiba Raza (DG Khan) shared the third position with 1,184 marks.
In the General Group (Boys): Muhammad Faheem (Kot Addu) achieved the first position with 1,077 marks, Muhammad Muzammil (Muzaffargarh) stood second with 1,054 marks, and Muhammad Shiraz (Rojhan) secured the third position with 1,051 marks.
In the General Group (Girls): Qurat-ul-Ain (Muzaffargarh) claimed the first position with 1,087 marks, Laiba Fayyaz (Layyah) took the second position with 1,087 marks, and Zahra Fatima (DG Khan) secured the third position with 1,076 marks.
Chairman Ashfaq Ahmed Chaudhry congratulated all the top-performing students and appreciated their hard work and dedication. He also extended his best wishes for their future academic endeavors.
