Maryam Nawaz revitalizing province’s culture: Shazia Rizwan

RAWALPINDI, Jul 25 (APP): Member Punjab Assembly, Shazia Rizwan Thursday said that promoting art and culture is a reflection of a nation’s unity and harmony. No nation can progress without promotion of its culture which is a significant element of a country.

She said Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has established a beautiful tradition of revitalizing the province’s culture
and added that various activities were ongoing in Punjab province for the promotion of art and culture.

Addressing as chief guest at an exhibition held here at Punjab Arts Council (PAC), she said art and culture contribute not only to a country’s development and prosperity but also represent its valuable heritage. Culture is a distinctive aspect that differentiates one country from another.

Director PAC, Sajjad Hussain briefed the chief guest on the events taking place at the Arts Council. The exhibition is showcasing artworks created by female students, he added.

Shazia Rizwan, appreciating PAC’s promotional events, said that it was playing a vital role in promoting art and culture in the Pothohar region.
