LAHORE, Jun 18 (APP):Mansoor Ahmed Raja, the newly appointed Director General of the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Lahore, has formally assumed his responsibilities.
An introductory meeting was held at the PHA Headquarters in Lahore, chaired by DG Mansoor Ahmed Raja. The meeting was attended by Additional Director General Zeeshan Nasrullah Ranjha, Director Admin Saulat Hayat Wattoo along with all directors of the PHA.
During the meeting, Additional DG Zeeshan Nasrullah Ranjha provided a detailed briefing to the Director General on the various ongoing development projects and administrative matters. Meanwhile, the DG reviewed all departmental affairs and considered various proposals to improve the authority’s overall performance. Addressing the meeting, Mansoor Ahmed Raja stated that all available resources would be utilized to make Lahore greener, more vibrant and more beautiful. He directed the relevant officers to ensure that ongoing projects are completed efficiently, timely and with quality standards. Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of ensuring full attendance and commitment from both field and office staff.
The DG highlighted that Lahore’s parks and recreational areas would be upgraded in line with modern standards, making them more attractive and family friendly for citizens. He expressed his firm commitment that PHA Lahore is dedicated to providing better facilities to the public.
