QUETTA, Jul 12 (APP):Governor Balochistan Jaffar Khan Mandokhail on Friday called for launching of Umra flights operation from the provincial capital Quetta.
In a statement issued here, Governor Balochistan deplored that pilgrims in Balochistan, on account of no direct Umra flights are forced to go other cities to take flight for Saudi Arabia.
“Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, during his visit to Quetta promised to initiate Umra flight operation from Quetta, he said adding that the flight operation will help resolve issues facing the pilgrims in Balochistan. Governor Balochisan further urged the PIA authorities to take concrete step in this connection.
