DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Jul 24 (APP):One person died as opponents opened fire on him near Pota area within the limits of Khui Bahara Police Station, a police official said on Wednesday.
He said that 34-year-old Sabir Shah Ustrana, a resident of Garah Mehr Chaudhawan, lodged a report in Khui Bahara police station that his 26-year-old brother named Hukam Khan Ustrana along with his mother Maaina Bibi were on their way towards Pota area to see a marriage proposal.
On their way, their opponents named Inayatullah son of Sharbat Khan and Abdul Majeed son of Sheeran opened fire on them.
As a result, Hukam Khan Ustrana sustained serious injuries while his mother narrowly escaped. Sabir Shah informed the police that his mother told him about the incident.
On this information, the brother of the victim and other relatives reached the spot and found Hukam Khan as dead.
The reason behind the incident was a rivalry between both groups over previous killings and fights. The police registered a case against the accused and started further investigation
