MUZAFFARGARH, Jul 15 (APP):A farmer was killed by electrocution while attempting to save the other person’s life clinged to 11kv wires.
Rescuer said a plumber, Aslam, was making water pump bore in house of Muhammad Ramzan, son of Juma Khan, resident of Chuk no. 166 located near Peer Jugi Sharif.
During boring procedure, Muhammad Aslam standing on makeshift stair touched with 11 KV wires passing over the house.
It resulted him clinged with the wire, prompted the owner, Ramzan, rushed to protect him. But despite that the house owner would save the plumber, he himself fell down unconscious after touching the plumber.
Rescuers rushed to the scene and shifted the plumber after safely detaching him from the wire, along with the man being unconscious, to DQ hospital.
As soon as the victims reached to the hospital, the medic pronounced the owner died already. While it started treatment of the injured plumber.
Police of the concerned jurisdiction was informed, it was said.
