RAWALPINDI, Sep 15 (APP):Gujar Khan Police have arrested a man for allegedly making a bogus call to emergency helpline 15, falsely claiming that his land had been occupied.
According to police spokesperson, the call was investigated and no evidence of any land-grabbing incident was found at the location mentioned by the caller.
A case has been registered against the suspect, who was subsequently arrested, police said.
Superintendent of Police Saddar, Anum Sher said that emergency helpline 15 is a facility provided to citizens for assistance in emergencies and warned that its misuse would result in legal action. Further investigation is underway, police spokesperson added
