Malakand Board changes SSC examination schedule

SHANGLA, Oct 06 (APP):The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Swat has postponed the matriculation (SSC) Annual-II Examination 2026 papers that were scheduled for October 7, 8, 9 and 10 announcing that the examinations will resume from October 12 according to the previously issued date sheet.
According to a press release issued by BISE Swat, students appearing in the examinations in Shangla, Buner and Swat districts will resume their papers from October 12.
The board said that the SSC Annual-II Examination 2026 which was earlier scheduled to commence on October 7, will now formally begin on October 12.
The Class 10 Physics paper will be held on October 12 at the scheduled time. The board clarified that the remaining examinations will be conducted from October 12 according to the previously issued date sheet. The new dates for the papers postponed on October 7, 8, 9 and 10 will be announced later, the board said.
BISE Swat has directed the superintendents, deputy superintendents and other examination staff to observe October 9 as a Preparation Day and complete all necessary arrangements at the examination centres.
The board has advised students and parents in Shangla, Buner and Swat to carefully follow the latest examination instructions and ensure their attendance in the relevant papers from October 12 according to the previously issued date sheet.
Students and parents have also been advised to obtain information about any further changes in the examination schedule including the revised dates of the postponed papers through the official sources of the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Swat.
