LAHORE, Nov 06 (APP):The Lahore Waste Management Company (LWMC) is implementing extensive cleaning arrangements for the annual Raiwind Tablighi Ijtema.
According to LWMC sources here on Thursday, under the guidance of LWMC Chief Executive Officer Babar Sahib Din, over 140 workers and 25 vehicles are actively engaged in maintaining cleanliness throughout the Ijtema.
To ensure cleanliness around the ‘Ijtema Gah’, five water bowsers have been deployed for water sprinkling. The water bowsers ensure continuous sprinkling of water around the venue to minimize dust and maintain a clean atmosphere.
LWMC Workers were deployed in three shifts, focusing on manual sweeping and waste collection in and around Raiwind Haveli and the ‘Pandal’.
Additionally, mechanical sweeping and washing of the roads leading to the venue are underway.
CEO Babar Sahib Din emphasized that, as in previous years, LWMC is committed to provide the best possible cleanliness arrangements for the visitors attending the Ijtema.
LWMC officers and workers would be on duty across all three shifts until both phases of the event are successfully completed, prioritizing a clean environment for all citizens.
