HYDERABAD, Nov 21 (APP):A large-scale anti-encroachment operation is underway across various parts of the city under the directives of deputy commissioner Zain-ul-Abdin Memon to restore public pathways, improve traffic flow and ensure strict implementation of municipal laws
The operation was conducted in key areas including Ali Palace, London Town, Naseem Nagar, Hussainabad, Wadhu Wah, Neroon Kot, Benazir Bhutto Flyover and the surroundings of Isra hospital. During the action, illegal stalls, cabins, roadside parking, encroachments by showrooms, unauthorized restaurant extensions and other obstacles were removed.
According to officials, the anti-encroachment team also issued strict warning notices to citizens and shopkeepers. It was decided that further action would be taken against violators in coordination with the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (HMC), traffic police and other relevant departments to prevent any future illegal activities. The operation continues under the supervision of the respective assistant commissioners, HMC and town municipal committees.
The deputy commissioner said that encroachments on public spaces will not be tolerated under any circumstances and that the campaign against illegal occupation in the city will continue.
