Livestock Department sets up control rooms at cattle markets

FAISALABAD, May 29 (APP):The special cattle markets for sale and purchase of sacrificial animals have become functional at seven places in the district including tehsils and the livestock department has set up control rooms there.

According to official sources here Thursday, the purpose of establishing the control rooms is to monitor the tick, fly and mosquito control campaign by the veterinary staff deployed at sales points and inter-district check posts.Another major objective of the move is to provide timely medical facilities to the animals in the markets.

Like every year, the staff of the livestock department will perform round the clock at the control rooms.
