LAHORE, Dec 08 (APP): The Lahore High Court (LHC) has recorded remarkable judicial performance for November 2025, underscoring the impact of ongoing judicial and case-management reforms spearheaded by Chief Justice Miss Aalia Neelum.
Collectively, the LHC’s principal seat and regional benches disposed of more than 18,000 cases during the month — a major milestone in strengthening the delivery of justice, says a LHC  press release issued here on Monday.
According to official data, 12,457 new cases were filed across the LHC in November. Notably, the court decided 5,585 more cases than those instituted, reflecting a significant boost in disposal efficiency and contributing meaningfully to reducing the longstanding backlog.
Lawyers and litigants have welcomed the month’s performance, terming it an encouraging step and an important benchmark for the justice system.
Chief Justice Aalia Neelum credited the accelerated pace to the introduction of digital reforms, enhanced automation, and the strengthened use of information technology across judicial processes. These initiatives, she said, are promoting transparency and reinforcing public trust in the court’s functioning.
“The provision of transparency and timely justice delivery in the judicial system remains the foremost
priority of the Lahore High Court,” the chief justice reaffirmed.
