HYDERABAD, Dec 17 (APP):The Legal Aid Society has launched Justice Hub in Hyderabad, which aims to provide free and easy legal assistance to the public.
In Justice Hub, citizens will be provided with legal advice, legal representation if needed, family and property matters, NADRA-related identity issues, mediation and counseling, and guidance from other government institutions including the police and courts. Trained mediators, paralegals, field teams and High Court lawyers will serve in Justice Hub, while this center will also be linked to the Sindh Legal Advisory Call Center so that the public can get legal guidance even in the absence of a lawyer. Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Hyderabad Division Commissioner Fayyaz Hussain Abbasi appreciated the initiative and said that Justice Hub will prove to be an effective bridge between the administration and the disadvantaged sections.
Former Supreme Court Judge Justice Arif Hussain Khilji said that justice is the fundamental right of every citizen and Justice Hub will provide services without discrimination. On this occasion, Advocate Danish Ahmed Soomro, Head of Justice Hub, said that this center will help reduce the burden on the courts and restore public confidence through timely resolution of disputes, mediation and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). The ceremony was attended by Barrister Haya Iman Zahid, CEO of Legal Aid Society, lawyers, officers of NADRA and Sindh Police and representatives of civil society.
