LDA retrieves ten one-kanal residential plots

LAHORE, Oct 03 (APP):The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) claimed to have retrieved ten one-kanal residential plots that had been under illegal possession for the past 21 years.
The estimated value of the recovered land exceeds Rs. 400 million.
Director General of the Lahore Development Authority (LDA), Tahir Farooq, conducted a detailed visit to LDA Avenue-I and Sundar Raiwind Road to inspect ongoing development work and recent anti-encroachment operations.
During his visit to LDA Avenue-I, DG Tahir Farooq reviewed the valuable land recently retrieved land.
DG LDA appreciated the efforts of the Avenue-I team for reclaiming the government-owned land and commended their commitment to upholding the authority’s property rights. He was briefed on the operation by Director Avenue-I Umar Sohaib and Director Engineering Zeeshan Usmani.
According to the briefing, all illegal structures and constructions on the plots were demolished during the operation. DG Tahir Farooq emphasized that the protection of LDA-owned properties must be ensured at all costs. He instructed the installation of fencing and boundary walls around the reclaimed plots to prevent future encroachments.
