LAHORE, Mar 02 (APP):The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) here Monday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Turkish Airlines under the airline’s Corporate Club Premium programme, aimed at facilitating international travel for the business community and strengthening institutional cooperation.
The MoU was signed by LCCI President Faheem ur Rehman Saigol and General Manager Turkish Airlines Omer Onder Haberdar. Senior Vice President Tanveer Ahmad Sheikh, Vice President Khurram Lodhi, Executive Committee Members Rana Shoban Akhtar and Amna Randhawa were also present.
Under the agreement, LCCI and its nominated representatives will be able to avail special corporate travel privileges, discounted airfare structures and performance-based incentives offered by Turkish Airlines. According to details, the MoU provides LCCI access to Turkish Airlines’ corporate travel framework, which includes preferential corporate fares, dedicated reservation support and enhanced travel facilitation services. The agreement also introduces a backend incentive mechanism through which the chamber can earn complimentary tickets based on accumulated travel volume generated through official bookings.
The collaboration will enable smoother travel arrangements for LCCI delegations visiting international markets while reducing travel costs through negotiated corporate pricing. Travelers registered under the chamber’s corporate account will continue to receive individual frequent-flyer mileage benefits alongside organizational incentives.
LCCI President Faheem ur Rehman Saigol termed the agreement an important step toward improving global connectivity for the business community, noting that enhanced travel facilitation plays a vital role in promoting trade diplomacy, export promotion and international business engagement.
He said the partnership reflects growing cooperation between international airlines and business institutions to support cross-border commercial activity and strengthen economic linkages. The agreement is also expected to encourage greater participation of Pakistani entrepreneurs in global trade forums through improved access to international travel services.
