DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Sep 05 (APP):Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is facing a serious governance crisis, with lawlessness and corruption on the rise.
Talking to media persons here at the residence of JUI’s Tehsil Ameer Kafeel Ahmed Nizami, he said the party was holding public gatherings to inform the people about the prevailing situation.
He added that rallies in Mardan and Dir had been cancelled due to flooding, while a “Mufti Mehmood Conference” would now be held in Dera Ismail Khan on October 16.
The JUI-F chief said the party would not leave the people in the current circumstances alone and would continue efforts for the supremacy of Islam and resolution of public issues.
On the occasion, Engineer Maulana Ziaur Rehman, Haji Nizamuddin, Haji Imamduddin, Qari Umair Farooqi, Shakeel Ahmed Nizami, Naveed Ahmed Nizami, Daud Khan, Haji Taj Muhammad, Haji Abdullah and others were also present.
