LAHORE, Oct 21 (APP): Lahore continued to experience smoggy and dry weather on Tuesday, with poor visibility and worsening air quality conditions.
MET officials stated that continental air was prevailing over most parts of the country, while a shallow westerly trough was present over the northern regions. They forecast dry weather across most areas, with cold conditions likely in hilly regions during the morning and night hours. However, partly cloudy weather with chances of light rain is expected in Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
The officials further warned that due to persistent dry conditions and rising atmospheric pollution, several districts in eastern Punjab are likely to remain under the influence of smog. Citizens have been advised to take precautionary measures to protect themselves from the hazardous air quality.
