Meanwhile, MET officials said continental air was dominating most parts of the country. They forecast dry weather for the majority of regions, with cold to very cold conditions in hilly areas during the morning and night. Smog — along with shallow fog patches in the morning and night — may form over a few plain areas of Punjab.
