KU cancels admissions for submitting forged documents

KARACHI, Feb 24 (APP): The University of Karachi (KU) has canceled various admissions for submitting fake/fabricated documents to get admission. The KU’s in-charge of the Directorate of Admissions, Professor Dr Saima Akhtar, mentioned that following verifications from the KU’s Examination Department and Board of Intermediate Education Karachi, the marksheets of several students were found forged and their admissions were cancelled immediately.
She mentioned that the KU has canceled the admission of Sheikh Muhammad Bilal, son of Sheikh Ayub, for submitting a forged marksheet.
According to her, Sheikh Muhammad Bilal was enrolled in the BSSCM IIIrd Year program in the Department of Public Administration. His form number was 4462934 and his marksheet roll number was 410541.
Dr Saima shared that during the verification process from the KU’s examination department, his document was not forged and as per policy, the admission was canceled with immediate effect.
She added that Sana Magsi, daughter of Tariq, form number 5681233, and marksheet roll number 920881, was found guilty during the verification process. She had applied for the BS IIIrd Year in the Department of English in the morning shift.
Dr Saima mentioned that Fuail Noor Ul Syed, son of Syed Noor Ul Munib Ullah, form number 5657142, marksheet roll number 217218, applied for BS 1st Year in Animation program in the Department of Visual Studies, and Muhammad Arqam Khan, s/o Muhammad Asif Khan, form number 5662378, marksheet roll number 806569, was studying in BSCS in the Department of Computer Science.
She said that both used forged documents to get admissions in the morning shift, and now their admissions have been canceled with immediate effect.
She shared that Ayesha Kamran, d/o Kamran Laiq, form number 5676974, marksheet roll number 798988, was enrolled in the BBA class in the Karachi University Business School in the evening program and used a forged marksheet. Dr Saima added that Ayesha Kamran’s admission was also canceled immediately.
