PESHAWAR, Oct 31 (APP): Speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Babar Saleem Swati has convened the second meeting of Special Committee on Security in conference room of provincial assembly on November 3 at 12:00 noon.
The Police Department, Home Department and Chief Secretary KP would brief the Committee on the overall security and law and order situation in the province.
The Committee would formulate recommendations to strengthen law and order, enhance counter-terrorism measures and improve coordination among relevant institutions.
It is pertinent to mention that the Committee was constituted under the supervision of Speaker Babar Saleem Swati to conduct a high-level review of the province’s security affairs, develop a coordinated strategy with law enforcement agencies and ensure the protection of citizens’ lives and property.
