PESHAWAR, Jul 08 (APP):The nomination process for two vacant reserved seats for women in the National Assembly from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will commence July 9.
According to the official election schedule, the Returning Officer, Joint Provincial Election Commissioner Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Fareed Afridi, issued a public notice here on Tuesday, regarding the upcoming election on the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) quota.
Nomination papers can be submitted from July 9 to July 10, 2025, during office hours at the office of the Returning Officer, located on Shami Road, opposite Gate No 2 of the Golf Club, Peshawar.
The list of submitted candidates will be published on July 11, 2025.
Scrutiny of the nomination papers will be carried out until July 14, 2025.
Appeals against acceptance or rejection of nomination papers can be filed until July 17, 2025. The Election Tribunal will decide on these appeals by July 21, 2025.
The revised list of candidates will be released on July 22, 2025.
Candidates may withdraw their nominations until July 23, 2025.
The final list of candidates will be published on July 24, 2025.
The Pakistan Muslim League (N) may submit its priority list of candidates for the women’s reserved seats to the Returning Officer by July 10, 2025, during office hours.
