KP police’s resolve against terrorism unwavering: AIG

PESHAWAR, Nov 20 (APP):Additional Inspector General of Police (AIG) Operations Muhammad Ali Babakhel has said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police have rendered immense sacrifices in the fight against terrorism and reaffirmed that the struggle will continue until the menace is completely eradicated.
He emphasized that public cooperation particularly the constructive role of the youth is essential to support the police and security forces in eliminating terrorism from its roots.
He expressed these views during his visit to the Chinese cultural center China Window here, where he interacted with students from Frontier Model School and ICMS Chamkani.
He appreciated the initiative of familiarizing students with the history of Pakistan–China friendship and said he was pleased to see the younger generation learning about the country’s long-standing strategic partner.
Addressing the students, AIG Babakhel urged them to use social media responsibly and positively.
He stressed that digital platforms should be utilized for the nation’s development and to project Pakistan as a civilized and progressive country at the global level.
The senior police officer said that today’s students shoulder a great responsibility to work diligently for the progress and prosperity of the country, the nation, and particularly KP.
Responding to students’ questions, he shared that after clearing the CSS examination, joining the police was his first priority, and he takes pride in serving the public as part of the KP Police.
He expressed hope that the students would also consider joining the police force in the future to serve the people.
Earlier, AIG Babakhel visited various galleries of the China Window and took keen interest in the cultural and historical exhibits.
He reiterated that Pakistan–China friendship is “higher than the Himalayas, sweeter than honey, and deeper than the oceans,” adding that Pakistan must continue to learn from China’s remarkable development journey.
