KP Govt respects state institutions: Sohail Afridi

PESHAWAR, Jan 25 (APP):Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Sohail Afridi said on Sunday that he respects all state institutions.
He rejected claims that his party is hostile to the military or state institutions, stating that they respect all institutions completely.
Addressing participants of a rally in Mingora Swat, he said Chief Minister derives legitimacy from people mandate.
He emphasized that attempts to damage the party’s image would not succeed.
Upon reaching Barikot tehsil of Swat, the Chief Minister was received by party workers. He paid tribute to former MNA Murad Saeed for raising his voice during the early phases of terrorism in the region and expressed solidarity with him.
He highlighted public enthusiasm witnessed in Sindh, Hazara, Peshawar Region, and Malakand.
The rally subsequently entered Malakand, where supporters welcomed him. The Chief Minister acknowledged Malakand’s positive role in supporting PTI during difficult periods and urged workers to remain disciplined, stating that there is no room for complacency or error.
He vowed that the goal would be achieved, reiterating that decisions regarding negotiations or protest rest with Tehreek Tahaffuz e Aain Pakistan’s leadership and affirmed that the constitutional right to protest would be exercised if necessary.
In his concluding address at Chakdara, the Chief Minister thanked the participants and workers for their reception and said that the people of Malakand Region have once again proven that this region possesses the full capacity to stand firmly against injustice.
