PESHAWAR, Jun 13 (APP):The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has has increased allocation for higher education from Rs. 36 billion to Rs 50 billion in budget of for financial year 2025-26.
The government has decided to increase budget of universities from Rs 3 billion to Rs 10 billion while Rs. 3.5 billion have been earmarked for construction on five new colleges.
The provincial government has decided to allocate Rs 2772 million to convert government colleges to centers of applied science and technology while scholarship endowment fund has been increase by Rs 1224 million in budget for the year 2025-26.
